In another post the same day, Salinas commented on ongoing debates regarding mental health treatment: “The decision for a patient to stop taking SSRIs should be between the patient and their doctor. End of story.

Andrea Salinas has served as Oregon’s representative in Congress since 2023 after previously holding office in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard at age fifty-three, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
