Congresswoman Andrea Salinas has recently addressed a range of issues on her official social media, including maternal mental health resources, affordability challenges, and the commemoration of Yom HaShoah.
On April 13, 2026, Salinas highlighted support for maternal mental health by posting: “For 24/7, free, confidential maternal mental health call or text the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262). To online chat visit, https://t.co/Ga97eDOd9F. They have trained counselors who speak English and Spanish who are ready to assist”.
Later that day, she commented on economic concerns facing families. On April 14, 2026, she wrote: “The affordability crisis is real. It doesn’t have to be. Read my latest op-ed about the work I am doing to make life more affordable for you and your families. https://t.co/eaeZt6i0hi https://t.co/pevxFFsWHT”.
Salinas also marked Yom HaShoah with a post on April 14, 2026: “On Yom HaShoah, we honor the six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust. Today and every day, we must recommit ourselves to fighting hate and prejudice in every corner of our communities.”
Andrea Salinas has served as U.S. Representative for Oregon’s 6th District since 2023 after previously serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard, Salinas graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
