Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, representing Oregon’s 6th District since 2023, posted a series of tweets on February 3, 2026, criticizing federal policies and officials regarding immigration enforcement and grocery prices.

Later that evening at 20:39 UTC, Salinas addressed her opposition to funding U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stating, “I voted NO on today’s spending package. I won’t vote to give another cent to ICE while they keep terrorizing our communities and violating our rights.”
At 21:21 UTC the same day, she criticized the Department of Homeland Security and called for the removal of Secretary Noem. Salinas posted, “The Department of Homeland Security is causing chaos in our communities right now. Secretary Noem has got to go. Hear what I have to say on KGW about impeaching her https://t.co/xS0UEBuuzl”
