Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on November 14, 2025, criticizing former President Donald Trump, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and Congressional Republicans.
In her first tweet of the day, Salinas wrote: “Happy Friday, to everyone except Trump, Mike Johnson, and Congressional Republicans for making life unaffordable for the average American “ (November 14, 2025).
Later that afternoon, she questioned former President Trump’s transparency regarding his connections with Jeffrey Epstein. Salinas stated: “Don’t you think that it is so f*cking weird that Trump is hiding the truth? If there was nothing to hide between him and Epstein, then he should have ZERO issues with releasing the FULL Epstein files. He’s afraid.” (November 14, 2025).
In a subsequent post addressing Republican health care policy proposals, Salinas outlined her concerns about a new spending bill. She tweeted: “Here is what the Republicans’ spending bill does: Ends health care tax credits. Millions of Americans will lose their health care. Health care costs will rise for tens of millions more. They do not care about you or your families.” (November 14, 2025).
Andrea Salinas has served in Congress since 2023 after previously serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard at age 53, Salinas holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
