On November 5, 2025, Salinas wrote: “Republicans are on their record-breaking vacation when they should be at the negotiating table, working to reopen the government. @HouseDemocrats are united to reopen the government, safeguard health care, and lower the cost of living.”
Later that day, Salinas turned her attention to food assistance programs: “SNAP funding is held up because of Trump’s illegal delays.
