Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to highlight her advocacy on behalf of family caregivers and to call for the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
On November 17, 2025, Salinas posted: “Countless unpaid family caregivers provide dignified, quality care to their loved ones each day. During National Family Caregivers Month and every month, I am committed to advocating for them and their needs in Congress to ensure they receive the necessary support in this vital”.
The following day, she addressed efforts with fellow lawmakers regarding high-profile legal matters. On November 18, 2025, she wrote: “I just spoke alongside my @HispanicCaucus colleagues to call for the full release of the Epstein files. We stand united in serving justice for the countless young girls and women who were abused by the rich and powerful.”
Later that same day, Salinas shared an update on her legislative actions: “I just voted to release the Epstein Files. Read my statement https://t.co/tY2JLpFepr”.
Andrea Salinas has served in Congress since 2023 after representing constituents in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 through early 2023. She was born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and resides in Tigard. Salinas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
