Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of updates with her constituents on social media.
On April 10, 2026, Salinas posted about engaging with local residents: “I always appreciate talking with Oregonians about service, community, and how we can work together to solve problems. Later that day, she acknowledged the achievements of NASA’s Artemis II mission: “After making history, Artemis II astronauts have successfully returned to Earth. Welcome home! Congratulations to the crew and everybody behind them. Your work has made our nation proud.”
On April 11, Salinas marked National Pet Day by highlighting her team’s pets: “Interrupting your feed to showcase Team Salinas’ furry friends in honor of #NationalPetDay https://t.co/BctcgxHRG8”.
Andrea Salinas began serving in Congress in 2023 after representing her state in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and now residing in Tigard, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
