Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of updates on her social media account on January 27, 2026, addressing community assistance, remembrance of historical events, and economic concerns.
In a post dated January 27, 2026, Salinas invited constituents to seek help with federal agencies at an upcoming mobile office event: “¿Necesita ayuda con una agencia federal? Acompañe a mi equipo en Salem durante horas de oficina móvil. Tenemos personal que habla español y está listo para ayudarle. 29 de enero de 2026 11 AM a 1:00 PM PT Center 50+, 2615 Portland Rd NE, Salem https://t.co/M6jv4AGk5Z”.
Later that day, Salinas marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a message honoring victims and urging continued vigilance against hate: “On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the horrors of the Holocaust and honor the millions of lives lost. Together, let’s recommit to stopping hate and antisemitism in all its forms. #NeverAgain” (January 27, 2026).
Addressing local economic issues in another update from January 27, Salinas wrote about her ongoing conversations with residents regarding rising costs: “I met Sue a few months back when we sat down to talk about her skyrocketing health care costs. Today, we reconnected to discuss rising prices — this time at the grocery store. Grocery costs are rising, so stay tuned to see just how expensive they’ve become. https://t.co/6lV4rfDk9d”.
