Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who has represented Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account on June 3, 2026. The posts covered constituent services, student mental health initiatives, and a pointed comment about an unnamed individual.
In her first post at 15:54 UTC, Salinas wrote, “So he is out to make everyone’s lives miserable. Got it.” (June 3, 2026).
Later that day at 16:58 UTC, she reminded constituents of upcoming outreach efforts: “Reminder: I will be hosting mobile casework hours in #Monmouth from 11 AM – 1 PM PT on June 9, 2026! Make sure to drop in if you need assistance with navigating a federal agency!” (June 3, 2026).
In another tweet at 20:22 UTC, Salinas highlighted her engagement with students regarding mental health support: “Our students are breaking the stigma around mental health, and they shared with me their ideas to support their peers in crisis. The future is bright with this next generation, and I look forward to bringing their ideas back to the policymaking table. Call 988 if you need” (June 3, 2026).
Andrea Salinas was born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently resides in Tigard. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994. Before joining Congress in January of 2023 as representative for Oregon’s newly created sixth district—a position she continues to hold—she served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 through early January of that year.
