Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, representing Oregon’s 6th District since 2023 and a former member of the Oregon House of Representatives, recently highlighted her ongoing legislative efforts through a series of social media posts on December 8, 2025.
In one post at 20:13 UTC, Salinas stated: “I’ll keep championing these projects, pushing for every dollar we can secure, and standing up for our rural communities. Read more about the funding I secured for the City of Carlton below (2/2) https://t.co/r8vJecIlaM”.
An hour later, at 21:14 UTC, she addressed healthcare priorities as a member of the New Democrat Coalition. She wrote: “As a member of the @NewDemCoalition, one of my top priorities is making health care more affordable for everyone. That’s why I’m proud to support our newly released Health Care Action Plan, a framework for lowering costs and expanding care for all Americans. Read it here”.
Later that evening at 23:07 UTC, Salinas turned attention to agricultural trade issues impacting her state. She said: “Oregon’s world-class wine producers and specialty crop growers are facing real economic pain thanks to Trump’s trade policies. I’m proud to co-lead the Specialty Crop & Wine Producer Tariff Relief Act with @RepThompson, @RepNewhouse, @RepLaMalfa, & @RepJimmyPanetta, so that”.
Salinas was born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently resides in Tigard at age 53. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
