Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, has used her social media platforms to inform constituents about upcoming events and commemorate significant historical milestones.
On July 20, 2025, Salinas posted an invitation for constituents to participate in a live telephone town hall, writing: “You have until Tuesday, July 22, at 12 PM PT to join my LIVE telephone town hall. Make sure to share the RSVP form with a friend so they can hop on the call. RSVP at https://t.co/zdQOOKd7RR. Talk soon! https://t.co/xCiG8QaUFQ”. The post encouraged community members to share the event details with others.
Later that day, Salinas marked the anniversary of a major event in American history by stating: “Houston, we have…nostalgia 56 years ago today, American astronauts landed on the moon! I think we’re still over the moon about it! #LunarLandingDay”.
On July 21, 2025, she reminded followers of another opportunity for engagement: “ICYMI: I am hosting a telephone town hall for you and your neighbors TOMORROW, July 22, at 5:00 PM PT. Andrea Salinas has served as Oregon’s representative in Congress since 2023 after previously serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard at age 53, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
