Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who has represented Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared updates on her social media about her activities and engagement with constituents.
On July 23, 2025, Salinas posted about a lighthearted event with colleagues on Capitol Hill, writing: “Happy Sneaker Day on the Hill!

Later that day, she expressed gratitude to constituents for their participation in a recent telephone town hall. In her post from July 23, she stated: “Thank you to the 17,000 Oregonians who joined my telephone town hall last night!

Salinas also highlighted policy developments related to mental health response in Salem. On July 23, she wrote: “I’ve consistently advocated for more providers & health care facilities equipped to address mental & behavioral health crises.
I’m pleased that Salem is exploring pairing first responders & mental health professionals on crisis calls, which is a commonsense policy that makes”.
Andrea Salinas was born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently resides in Tigard at age 53. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley (1994). Before joining Congress in 2023, Salinas served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023.
