Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her legislative efforts and constituent services through a series of posts on social media.

On August 19, 2025, Salinas announced new legislation aimed at expanding voting access nationwide. She stated, “That is why I introduced the Universal Right to Vote by Mail Act. My bill would establish a national right to vote by mail, which would only strengthen our democracy by removing unnecessary barriers to voting, ensuring more Americans can make their voices heard. The following day, Salinas communicated directly with Spanish-speaking constituents about an upcoming virtual event for casework assistance. On August 20, 2025, she posted: “Estoy teniendo una hora virtual de trabajo de caso el lunes, 25 de agosto de 2025, de 12 pm PT a 1 pm PT. Later that same day, Salinas addressed economic concerns related to federal trade policy under former President Trump’s administration. She wrote: “Every day that President Trump’s unilateral tariffs stay in place, businesses in Oregon and across the country pay the price. Andrea Salinas has served as the representative for Oregon’s newly created 6th Congressional District since 2023 after previously serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in 1994.
