Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on April 10, 2026, addressing her office’s work and ongoing policy priorities.
In a message shared at 20:36 UTC, Salinas invited constituents to seek assistance with federal agencies: “If you or someone you know needs help with a federal agency, contact my office at (503) 385-0906 or visit https://t.co/IBFrUy3Ukh. We have staff ready to assist you.
Si necesitas ayuda con una agencia federal, contacta con mi oficina en el (503) 385-0906 o visita”.
That same day and time, she commented on her team’s efforts related to immigration enforcement by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE): “Here’s a peek behind the curtain to see how my team and I are protecting our community from ICE.
Since the start of Trump’s chaos, my team and I have been working alongside community leaders and organizations to safeguard people’s constitutional rights from ICE’s brutality.”
Later that evening at 22:13 UTC, Salinas discussed Social Security during a conversation with two constituents: “I spoke with Diana and her granddaughter, Jay, about Social Security.
I’m working to protect and expand the benefits seniors have earned, while making sure Social Security is around for future generations.”
Andrea Salinas has served in Congress since 2023 after previously holding office in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 through early 2023. She was born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently resides in Tigard. Salinas graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
