Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on February 23, 2026, addressing mental health during tax season and providing information about travel alerts for Mexico.
In her first post of the day, Salinas acknowledged the pressures associated with tax filing: “Many of us understand just how stressful tax season can be. Later that day, she shared resources for travelers heading to Mexico: “You can receive the most up-to-date information on travel alerts in Mexico by enrolling in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Program STEP. Additionally, if you or someone you know needs help enrolling or needs assistance with a federal agency, my staff is ready to help.” (February 23, 2026).
