Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, used her social media platform to share information and resources for constituents, as well as to comment on recent legislative developments related to health care.
On November 10, 2025, Salinas posted a message encouraging followers to distribute helpful contacts and links: “Save & share the following resources if you or someone you know may need them
Public Benefits Hotline 1-800-520-5292
Oregon Housing & Community Services https://t.co/CIodHsxbh1
Locating resources https://t.co/BEUWgbnEmR
Childcare financial help”.
Later that day, she addressed concerns about federal legislation: “The Senate’s spending bill has no concrete plan to lower the cost of health care or prevent Republicans’ health care crisis. Over the past 6+ weeks, I’ve heard from my constituents whose costs are going up, and they are being forced to choose between paying unbearably high” (November 10, 2025).
On November 11, 2025, Salinas reminded Oregonians about open enrollment for health coverage: “ATTENTION OREGONIANS
Open enrollment has already begun, and if you have yet to compare and view plans, now is the time to check them out to ensure that you are covered.
