Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, who represents Oregon’s 6th District in the U.S. Congress, shared details of her recent walking tour of downtown Sherwood with Mayor Tim Rosener through a series of posts on February 13, 2026.

In her first post, Salinas wrote, “I joined #Sherwood Mayor Tim Rosener for a walking tour downtown, where we discussed everything from improving our sewer system to economic development in Old Town. Follow along on our tour (1/5)” (posted February 13, 2026).

Continuing the thread, she described stops at local businesses: “We started at The Hungry Hero Dessert Co. The bakery is owned by Alex Wilson, who you may recognize from his 2020 win on Netflix’s baking competition show Sugar Rush! From there, we went to Araceli’s Cocina, which serves up authentic Mexican cuisine in Old Town. (2/5)” (posted February 13, 2026).

She then highlighted other local establishments and conversations about small business challenges: “Next stop: Fat Milo’s Diner, a family-owned restaurant that has served Sherwood locally-sourced, and scratch-made ingredients for 15 years. Andrea Salinas has represented Oregon’s newly created 6th Congressional District since 2023 after serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023. Born in San Mateo, California in 1969 and currently residing in Tigard at age 53, Salinas earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
