Congresswoman Andrea Salinas has used her social media platform to address ongoing issues related to health care costs and government operations, as shown in several posts on November 5, 2025.
In a post from that day, Salinas called for bipartisan cooperation: “I’m calling on Republicans to return and work to lower health care costs for millions of Americans like Sue. I’m fighting to lower costs, and I want to hear from you. If your health care premiums are expected to rise, click the link below and fill out the form. (2/2)” (November 5, 2025).
Later the same day, she updated constituents about her office’s availability during a government shutdown: “The government is still shut down, but my office is OPEN and ready to work for you. Here are two ways you can contact my office. (503) 385-0906 https://t.co/Uvx9DX6lA0” (November 5, 2025).
She also posted a similar message in Spanish: “El gobierno todavía está cerrado, pero mi oficina está ABIERTA y lista para trabajar para usted. Tenemos hispanohablantes. Aquí hay dos formas de comunicarse con mi oficina. (503) 385-0906 https://t.co/Uvx9DX6lA0” (November 5, 2025).
