The Portland State Vikings secured a 4-3 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears in an NCAA Division I softball contest held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. The team includes former West Linn High School player Rylee Gaustad.
The matchup was hosted at Gordon Faber Recreation Complex and marked the third meeting of the season between the two teams, who have split their previous games.
Gaustad contributed with one hit in three plate appearances and scored one run.
Portland State is set to play next at Shea Stadium against the Sacramento State Hornets on Friday, April 24.
