Rylee Gaustad helps lead Portland State to 10-2 victory in Division I softball matchup

At 4 p.m. on Friday, April 17, Rylee Gaustad, a former West Linn High School standout, helped her college team, the Portland State Vikings, secure a 10-2 win over the Northern Colorado Bears in an NCAA Division I softball contest.

The contest was held at the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Gaustad posted a perfect three hits in three at-bats, along with one run scored and two RBIs.

The Vikings’ upcoming game is set for 7:30 p.m. at the same complex, again facing the Bears.
