On Saturday, March 14, the UT Tyler Patriots, featuring former Westside Christian High School standout Polina Latysheva, were defeated 62-58 by the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

Tipoff was at 4 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena for the Patriots’ first tournament meeting with Colorado Mesa.
