Polina Latysheva, a standout alumna of Westside Christian High School and current player with the UT Tyler Patriots, will take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Patriots hold the No. 7 seed and are slated to face the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, who are seeded at No. 2.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
