On Saturday, March 14, the Vanguard Lions, featuring former Westside Christian High School standout Nyla Cabine, were defeated 81-73 by the Central Washington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, which marked the Lions’ first tournament game against the Central Washington Wildcats, was held at Nicholson Arena at 7:30 p.m.
