For Labor Day weekend, from Aug 30 through Sept 5, West Linn Police will participate in the "If You Feel Different, You Drive Different. Drive High, Get a DUI" high-visibility drug-impaired-driving enforcement period.
WLPD will be participating in High Visibility Enforcement patrols using funds from a grant from ODOT through Oregon Impact. This grant funding will allow WLPD to deploy extra officers to conduct traffic safety stops. Grant money will also fund more WLPD patrols for speeding, seatbelt use, DUII and distracted driving.
