In a tweet posted on February 5, 2025, Salinas congratulated Willamette University for being recognized as one of the best Master’s in Data Science programs in the country by Fortune Magazine. She expressed pride in local institutions leading through education. Later that day, Salinas thanked attendees at a town hall meeting she co-hosted with Senator Jeff Merkley in Marion County.
