In her first tweet of the day, Salinas celebrated Oregon's 166th birthday. She mentioned that members of the Oregon delegation had created a video highlighting fun facts about the state. The tweet read: "Happy Birthday, Oregon! In honor of our great state's 166th birthday, a few of us in the Oregon delegation put together a video of fun facts we love about our home state. Later that day, Salinas addressed federal funding cuts impacting local services. She expressed concern over reductions affecting nonprofits like one in Salem that supports adults with disabilities. Her tweet stated: "Federal funding cuts are threatening critical services in our community—like this Salem nonprofit that helps adults with disabilities. President Trump is taking money from Oregonians in need and giving it to billionaires. That isn't government efficiency. It's theft."

Salinas concluded her day's posts with a personal note for Valentine's Day directed at her partner Chris: "Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine. I love you, Chris!"
