Andrea Salinas, a member of the U.S. Congress serving Oregon's 6th District since 2023, shares insights and messages on social media touching on both state and international matters. Her experience includes time in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 until 2023, demonstrating her longstanding commitment to public service. Born in San Mateo, California, in 1969, Salinas holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 1994.

On April 19, 2025, Salinas expressed her appreciation for a recent visit from Tillamook Creamery, which highlighted her connection to Oregon while in Washington, D.C. "Thank you to Tillamook Creamery for stopping by my office and bringing me a little taste of Oregon in DC! On April 21, 2025, Salinas reflected on the passing of Pope Francis, marking his legacy and influence as a leader.
