On February 12, 2025, Congresswoman Salinas expressed concerns about funding cuts under the Trump Administration. She stated: "I continue to hear from Oregonians about how the Trump Administration's reckless funding cuts are impacting families, businesses, and communities." She emphasized her commitment to stopping what she described as "illegal theft" and ensuring that Oregonians receive their entitled benefits.

In another tweet dated February 13, 2025, Salinas conveyed her stance on border security and safety during police pursuits. She tweeted: "I support secure borders and orderly migration." Additionally, she highlighted the importance of preventing high-speed car chases that endanger both officers and civilians. Her statement was made in connection with her vote for the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act.

Later that day, Congresswoman Salinas addressed concerns regarding potential impacts on America's future due to undermining research and STEM programs. During a hearing by @ScienceDems, she remarked: "At a recent @ScienceDems hearing, I made clear that if @POTUS continues to undermine research & STEM programs, he will put America's future economic success, medical advancements, & millions of jobs on the chopping block."
