On March 18, 2025, Congresswoman Salinas celebrated National Agriculture Day by expressing gratitude to Oregonians working in agriculture. She stated, "Happy National Agriculture Day! Thank you to the many Oregonians who work hard every day to put food on our tables." She emphasized her commitment as a member of the House Agriculture Democrats to support local growers and producers.

In another tweet posted later that day, Salinas criticized Republican policies regarding healthcare. She remarked, "Health care shouldn’t be a bargaining chip." Salinas accused Republicans of jeopardizing healthcare coverage for working families while providing tax breaks for billionaires.

Further addressing healthcare concerns, Salinas highlighted the reliance on Medicaid within her district. She tweeted, "216,860 Oregonians in our district rely on Medicaid for their health coverage." According to her statement, proposed budget plans could result in significant loss of coverage for families and millions across America.
