The Planning Commission and City Council will hold public hearings on Thursday, August 25th at 6:00pm and Monday, September 26th at 6:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers to consider Ordinance 2022-010 amending Title 16 - Development of the Estacada Municipal Code and Chapter 8 - Housing of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. These amendments are the result of the Housing Needs Analysis and Strategy Project conducted by the City and project consultants over the course of 2021 and 2022. This proposal is subject to the applicable criteria for development code and Comprehensive Plan amendments as established in Estacada Municipal Code chapter 16.128 and applicable goals and policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan and Statewide Planning Goals. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission's decision based upon that issue.
A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City's staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
