The City of Gresham is pleased to announce the annual State of the City address will be taking place Wednesday, March 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Sam Barlow High School, 5105 Southeast 302nd Avenue, Gresham. During the State of the City address, Mayor Travis Stovall will be reflecting on the past year as well as sharing his vision for the future. This year, guests will also hear from City Manager Nina Vetter, Police Chief Travis Gullberg, and Fire Chief Scott Lewis. Doors open for the event at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m. Following the address, participants will be able to meet with City staff while enjoying light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
“So much of the work that a City does to ensure our community is safe and prosperous goes on behind the scenes,” said City Manager Nina Vetter. “The State of the City address is a wonderful opportunity for our community to hear directly from City leaders as to what we’re most proud of from the past year and what we have to look forward to.”
For those that prefer a virtual option, this year’s State of the City address will also be available via live stream on the City of Gresham YouTube channel.
