On March 5, 2025, Congresswoman Salinas addressed concerns about voting rights across the nation. She stated that "Across the nation, extremists are attacking our democracy by making it harder for Americans to vote. Today @HouseDemocrats are fighting back. We’re reintroducing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect access to the ballot box for all Americans."

Later that day, she tweeted about a meeting with young leaders from the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO). She expressed optimism about their potential contributions: "I had a great meeting with @ASUOgov in my DC office! These young leaders will go on to do big things for our state and for our country. Thanks for stopping by, and #GoDucks! "

In another post on March 5, 2025, Salinas highlighted her discussions with the Oregon State Firefighters Council regarding wildland fire management strategies and healthcare access for firefighters. She acknowledged their efforts by stating: "I met with the Oregon State Firefighters Council to discuss wildland fire management strategies & improving access to health care for our firefighters.
