On November 20, 2024, Congresswoman Salinas expressed her support for Congressman Glenn Thompson, who is currently battling cancer. She wrote: "Wonderful news! I'm glad to hear that my friend and colleague @CongressmanGT is making progress in his fight against cancer. We’re all rooting for you, GT!"

The following day, November 21, she addressed healthcare accessibility issues affecting rural communities in America. Salinas stated: "Approximately 1/5th of America—and about 1 in 3 Oregonians—lives in a rural or frontier community. These folks deserve access to quality, affordable health care just like anyone else, and I'm fighting in Congress to make that a reality."

Later on the same day, Salinas highlighted wage disparities faced by Native women compared to their white male counterparts. She declared: "Native women are earning even less than last year compared to white men in similar industries. On Native Women's Equal Pay Day, I'm committed to closing the wage gap & ensuring all Americans are paid fairly—regardless of race, gender, or skin color."
