Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, representing Oregon's 6th District since 2023, shared her perspectives on several issues through a series of tweets. These tweets covered topics ranging from law enforcement and education to reproductive rights.

On January 22, 2025, Congresswoman Salinas expressed her concerns regarding President Trump's decision on his first day in office. She stated, "On his first day in office, President Trump chose to release 1,500 felons back onto our streets. These are criminals who violently assaulted police officers. Let that sink in. It's a slap in the face to law enforcement and will only make our communities less safe."

Later the same day, Salinas turned her attention to educational opportunities for young students interested in STEM fields. She tweeted about an initiative by the Space Foundation: "ATTN #OR06: Do you know a 7th or 8th grader who is interested in STEM? @SpaceFoundation is launching a National Space Day Challenge for students to help find solutions to managing space debris. In another tweet posted on January 22, 2025, Salinas reflected on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and emphasized the importance of protecting reproductive rights: "As we reflect on this 52nd #RoevWade anniversary, the third without Roe, the need for nationwide protection of the right to abortion is evident. Today and every day, I am proud to fight with @ReproCaucus to restore, expand, and protect reproductive freedom across the country."
