CITY OF FAIRVIEW: Update on TSP Amendment Process

City of Fairview issued the following announcement on Mar. 25. 

The City of Fairview is holding additional meetings for the proposed Transportation System Plan (TSP) amendment (Ord. 2-2022). The amendment includes the NE Fairview Parkway/NE Halsey Street intersection roundabout, the bike/transit hub concept, and other ongoing planning projects throughout the Halsey Street Corridor.  

Citizens are invited to participate in an in-person open house on Monday, April 11th from 6-8 PM at City Hall (1300 NE Village Street; Fairview, OR 97024). Citizens are also invited to provide oral or written testimony at an in-person public hearing held on Wednesday, April 13th at 6 PM in Council Chambers.  The public hearing will be live streamed for viewing and will an option for remote testimony. See the meeting agenda and website for information.  There are no proposed changes to Ord. 2-2022 (TSP Amendment) at this time. The Fairview City Council will deliberate on the ordinance on Wednesday, April 20th at 7 PM.

If you wish to provide remote testimony at the April 13th public hearing, you must submit your request to speak to the City Recorder, Devree Leymaster, before 5:00 PM on April 12th. Instructions and a link to sign up will be provided on the meeting agenda and website.
